    Handcrafting Diorite Jewelry

    All Diorite and other Feldspars are self-collected and cut in Washington State by the jewelry designer of Woodland Metalsmith. The stones are then set into sterling silver for pendant necklaces, earrings and rings. Each piece of jewelry is handmade with attention to detail and care.

    Diorite is an igneous rock with a black and white salt and pepper appearance. It is made up of mainly plagioclase Feldspar and Hornblende. Diorite can have a blue hue which is Feldspar. Its a fairly hard stone, similar to Granite, which makes it a great choice for jewelry and decor.

    Diorite has similar metaphysical properties to Moonstone, promoting emotional balance and spiritual harmony.

    Diorite is found in abundance in Washington State, although it it harder to find the Diorite with the blue hue.
