This special Epidote and Quartz pendant necklace is designed for someone with a simple style and a love for gems. The Epidote is reminiscent of a lush forest, with subtle Quartz mixed in. The adjustable hypoallergenic vegan necklace makes it easy to take on and off.
This necklace was completely handcrafted by me (Kahlia) in Washington State from my school bus work studio. I collected the Epidote from a beach on the Olympic Peninsula and cut and polished it myself.
Epidote is a metamorphic mineral, usually formed from hydrothermal activity. It can be found in striated or fibrous form, making it rather lustrous and shiny. Epidote is fairly common in Washington State, ranging from light to dark green and can show itself in many patterns and textures. Metaphysically, Epidote is an amplifier and promotes personal growth and transformation. Epidote is a great secondary birthstone for August and the Zodiac sign Leo.
