These gorgeous Epidote focal drop earrings are designed for someone with a simple taste and a love for gems. The Epidote is a lush forest green with some white Quartz mixed in. The earring hooks are made with niobium wire, an ultra hypoallergenic and non-reactive metal. Bonus, they come with silicone backers!

These earrings were completely handcrafted by me (Kahlia) in Washington State from my school bus work studio. I collected the Epidote from a beach on the Olympic Peninsula and cut and polished it myself.
Epidote is a metamorphic mineral, usually formed from hydrothermal activity. It can be found in striated or fibrous form, making it rather lustrous and shiny. Epidote is fairly common in Washington State, ranging from light to dark green and can show itself in many patterns and textures. Metaphysically, Epidote is an amplifier and promotes personal growth and transformation. Epidote is a great secondary birthstone for August and the Zodiac sign Leo.
