This beautiful Octopus pendant necklace is handcrafted in mixed metal with a natural Jasper gemstone from Washington State.
Offering an array of colors and patterns to gaze upon, the unique Jasper brings calm and grounding energy to its wearer. Jasper is a powerful healing stone, associated with the Earth element and a great secondary birthstone for the month of March.
I collected this piece of Jasper from a beach in Washington, cut and polished it and used it for this special design. The Octopus was first hand drawn, then meticulously sawn and soldered together. After oxidizing the metal, the stone was set and then the piece was coated in a high quality lacquer. A lot of time and energy went into this piece and I won't be using this exact design again.
