Orange Jasper Focal Pendant Necklace

This Orange Jasper focal pendant necklace is designed for someone with a simple style and a love for gems. The Jasper has a more masculine feel with a strong hefty shape. The colors are a blend of brownish red and orange with Quartz veins running through the entire piece. The adjustable hypoallergenic vegan necklace makes it easy to take on and off.

This necklace was completely handcrafted by me (Kahlia) in Washington State from my school bus work studio. I collected the Jasper from a beach on the Olympic Peninsula and cut and polished it myself.

Jasper is an opaque variety of Chalcedony, a type of micro-crystalline Quartz mixed with other minerals, and has a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, making it a very durable gemstone. Jasper can be found in an array of colors and patterns, making each one unique. It's found in areas with volcanic activity so it is fairly abundant in Washington State. Jasper is associated with the Earth element, bringing calmness and grounding to the wearer, and is the perfect secondary birthstone for the month of March and the Zodiac sign Aries.
